I would like to start by saying “Thank You” first to ALL our amazing Parents, Coaches,
Players, Cheerleaders, Team Moms, and Exec Board. Unfortunately, our 2018 Football season has come to an end. I feel we have all learned a lot from our first year back in football. I’m so proud of everyone. I know this season wasn’t easy for any of us, but we got through it together. I’m proud of how our players and cheerleaders represented themselves this season. You guys fought hard on the field and our cheerleaders cheered loud and proud on the sidelines.
I appreciate our wonderful parents and their families that came out each week to support our kids. We couldn’t have done it without you guys. We have the loudest FANS on Long Island; the stands were always rocking!!
We have our End of the Year Salute to our Players, Cheerleaders, and Coaches happening in February. Details will be shared in the coming weeks. We hope everyone will be able to attend.
I would like to personally say “Thank You” to each and everyone of our amazing coaches. You guys did a GREAT job this season. Your tireless dedication and commitment are truly amazing. Our kids are so blessed to have you coaching them. I know the work you put in can feel thankless at times, but we TRULY appreciate you and nothing you do for our kids goes overlooked.
I encourage our players to work hard this off-season. We have started something great. It’s not a sprint, it’s a marathon. Let’s focus on school and your grades and make sure your behavior, this off-season, is stellar. As hard as you guys work on the field, I want you to work just as hard in the classroom. Students make the best athletes. This off-season I encourage all of you to do your push-ups at night and work on the techniques your coaches have taught you.
Now that the off-season is here as an Organization, we have some decisions to make going forward which we will keep the parents abreast of. The football season is over, but the Elmont Cardinal grind continues. As you know we have our Sports Day Clinic coming up on Saturday November 10th at Elmont Memorial HS. Our Free Clinics will cover Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Lacrosse. We encourage everyone to sign up and come out and participate. Registration for our basketball teams is still available if you’re interested, and baseball starts in January. We will offer free clinics for baseball so be on the lookout for the information.
In closing, I look forward to keeping the momentum going towards next year. Let’s stay together and get back at it next year. It takes a Village to Raise our Kids. Always remember, the Pain you feel right now that the season is over Is Temporary, but Elmont Cardinal Pride Is Forever.
Thank You Again

I want to start by saying Congrats to the 8u, 10u, and 14u for making it to the playoffs.
On behalf of the executive board and myself we would like to take time and thank you all for participating in our 2018 football season. Thank you for your hard work and dedication and helping to make this season a success. I personally would like to thank you all for trusting me and the rest of the coaches with your children and believing in us to do what’s best for your child. I don’t do this for any recognition my sole purpose is to give the boys life lesson through the game of football that will mold them into becoming great young men. What an honor and a blessing it is to use my voice to teach and guide the youth through discipline structure and mental toughness to be successful young men in this world in the near future!! As long as I live I will continue to pay it forward. And to my cheerleading parents thank you for allowing the girls to be apart the Elmont Cardinals Family and putting the countless ours to learn new cheers and steps. The work you girls put in didn’t go unnoticed so again I thank you. We look forward to bigger and better things for the 2019 season. Year 1 was good but the best is yet to come.
